How To Root Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Using TWRP Recovery

In this article I am going to show you how to root your Samsung Galaxy Note 7 using TWRP recovery. All you have to do is follow the given tutorial step by step and you will be all done.

Warning:

Prerequisites:

· You need either Laptop or PC.

· Charge your phone to at least 60%.

· Take a proper backup of your device.

Files to be downloaded:

· Download and Install the Samsung Kies Software.

· DOwnload and Install the Samsung USB Drivers.

· Download and Extract the ODIN ZIP file on Desktop.

· Download Chainfire SuperSU.zip and place it on your root of internal memory on your phone.

· Download TWRP for Note 7.

Step By Step Tutorial:

1. First of all enable the USB Debugging.

2. Also Enable OEM Unlocking by Going to Settings > Developer Options > Toggle OEM Unlocking.

3. Open the Extracted ODIN File called Odin_v3.10.7.exe file using the Administrator – Right Click your mouse and Open using Administrator (If there is a pop-up regarding Installing ADB drivers let it finish, it usually updates).

4. Now reboot your phone into Download Mode.

5. So First Turn your Phone off -> press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons until you see a download mode.

6. Once you see the download screen, Press Volume Up to Continue.

7. Now connect your phone to PC using a standard USB Cable.

8. When you connect the USB cable you will see a blue sign in Odin

9. Add the Recovery TWRP .tar file which you downloaded from Above by Clicking AP/PDA Button and load it inside it.

10. Now Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked – Go to Option and see.

11. Also Uncheck the Auto Reboot if you installing for the first time.

12. Click the start button, sit back and wait few seconds until you see a message “PASS”.

13. Restart the phone into recovery by Holding POWER + HOME + VOL DOWN.

Now you have TWRP Recovery on your phone.
