In order to root Root Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime you must fulfill the following conditions:
·
Charge your phone battery more than 60%.
·
Enable ‘USB Debugging’.
·
Download CF Root of your device in
your PC.
·
Download and install Samsung drivers
·
Download Odin v3.07 (You can use any
version of Odin).
After you have fulfilled all the conditions above, you are ready to root your device. Just follow the steps below:
1.
Unzip the CF Root folder in your PC
that you downloaded above.
2.
After unzipping, you will see files
with extentions “.tar” & “.tar.md5” in the folder:

Unzip the Odin folder in your PC.
4.
Right click on odin icon and select
‘Run as administrator’.
5.
Now you need to run your phone in
‘Download Mode‘. Turn off your phone > Remove the battery > Reinsert the
battery > Press ‘volume down’ + ‘home’ + ‘power’ keys together for a little
while until you see warning screen > Press ‘volume up’ button.
6.
Connect your phone with you PC.
7.
As soon as you connect your phone with
your PC, you will see ID:COM block turning blue.
8.
You’ll also get ‘added’ message when
your phone is connected properly.
9.
Click on PDA button in Odin.
10. Choose
the file with extention “.tar.md5” and click open.
11. Make
sure that ONLY ‘Auto Reboot’ and ‘F. Reset Time’ options are tick marked.
12. Click
‘start’
13. Odin
will flash this file for you in couple for minutes.
14. Sit
back and relax until your phone is rebooted.
15. You
will see ‘Pass’ message in Odin when the file is flashed successfully.
16. Wait
for your phone to reboot automatically.
17. Now
run your phone in Download Mode again
18. Connect
your phone with your PC
19. Click
on PDA button in Odin
20. This
time, choose the file with the extention “.tar” and click open.
21. Make
sure that ONLY ‘Auto Reboot’ and ‘F. Reset Time’ options are tick marked.
22. Click
‘start’
23. Odin
will flash this file as well in couple for minutes.
24. Wait
until your phone is rebooted automatically.
25. You
will see ‘Pass’ message in Odin when the file is flashed successfully.
26. Wait
for your phone to reboot.
Once your phone is rebooted, go to the menu and
look for SuperUser app. If you have that app In your phone, it means that your
phone has been rooted.
