Preparation:
·
Smartphone must have at least 60
percent of the battery to make the process of rooting.
·
On your Samsung Galaxy, enable USB
Debugging Mode and OEM Unlock,
·
Download and install the Samsung USB
driver on your computer.
·
USB Cable (the original one is
recommended).
·
Backup your device data.
·
Install the Samsung Drivers to your
computer
Procedure:
1.
Download the updated CF-Auto-Root
package for the Grand Max.
2.
Download the Odin 3.09 flashing tool.
3.
Right-click the mouse over the files
when you have them on the desktop and pick the “extract here” option from the
menu.
4.
Double-click your Odin executable file
that’s on the desktop and wait for the Odin app to open on the computer.
5.
Turn off the Samsung Galaxy Grand Max smart
phone and reboot it up in download mode.
6.
Connect the Samsung Galaxy Grand Max
device to the computer with the standard USB cable you use for charging the
battery.
7.
Click the PDA or AP button and browse
the desktop location for the tar.md5 file that you extracted earlier.
8.
Do not touch any of the default
settings from the Odin user-interface.
9.
Click the Start button and wait for
the rooting to complete.
Watch the Samsung Galaxy Grand Max’s display for
when it tells you the device is about to reboot and wait for it to reboot in
recovery mode.
You need to have the device in recovery mode for
the rooting to work. Those who do not see their device reboot in recovery mode
must boot it in recovery mode manually. You can turn it off and boot it up by
holding the Volume Up + Home + Power to get in the recovery mode you need.
